You can also describe the task or problem to our specialists, and we will select optical elements and parameters that can solve it. The Ard-Optics website contains optical components used in a variety of optic and laser systems.

Depending on the purpose and scope of application, the products may differ in their characteristics, but they are all made from the best materials and comply with strict quality standards. To simplify the process of choosing the right item for your equipment, the assortment should be considered in detail.

Varieties of Products

The production of optical systems and individual components is carried out following a specification. As a result, the product characteristics match the required indicators. This improves the performance of your equipment and the safety of its use. To improve the convenience of searching, the products are divided into several subcategories:

Spherical optics

They are used for a wide range of optical installations and are products in which one or both planes are made in the form of a sphere. To obtain the specified throughput parameters of the product, a special coating is applied to the surface.

Aspherical optics

The item differs from the aforementioned analog in a more complex surface shape (axially symmetric, asymmetric). Such optics is used in the creation of optics systems. Due to the shapepeculiarities, are capable of performing the functions of several spherical products.

Flat optics

It is installed in all special optical systems and includes protective windows, prisms, cubes, and beam splitters. The products fulfill important functions and ensure the correct functioning of the equipment. Therefore, strict requirements are imposed on the quality of their manufacture.

When choosing the desired element, it should be borne in mind that products can be made according to preliminary orders and individual specifications, which means that the products exactly match the model of the optical setup.

Materials and Technologies

To ensure the high quality of the products manufactured at Ard-Optics, materials used in the manufacture go through several stages of quality control. Currently, the entire range of ARD-OPTICS optical products is manufactured from the following materials:

  • Sapphire monocrystals
  • Fused natural silica UV — KU-1
  • Fused natural silica IR — KI
  • Extra clear glass K8
  • Fused Natural Silica Cerium Doped
  • Yttrium aluminum garnet crystals, YAG
  • Clear cerium-doped silicate glass S7010N, S7005 and S7000

(Passive Glasses Laser Cavity Materials)

  • Transparent doped quartz glass

Extra clear glass K8

It is one of the main materials used to manufacture a wide range of optical products. The material is completely colorless, has a homogeneous structure, and is resistant to carbon dioxide. Besides, such glass perfectly retains its shape and is relatively easy to process, which makes it a versatile material.

Cultured Sapphire

This monocrystalline combines the transparency of the material, high hardness, and the ability to withstand significant temperature loads even in aggressive environments. At the same time, sapphire guarantees optical conductivity of radiation from the visible to the near-infrared region of the spectrum.

Quartz

It represents a whole selection of materials (KU, KV, KI, crystalline quartz), which differ in the manufacturing method and have slightly different optical characteristics. Quartz crystals are used in the production of spherical and aspherical lenses, fairings, etc. Materials are carefully selected depending on the features of the equipment operation and the required characteristics of the product.

Product Values

There are two types of values for each product: standard and achievable. This allows you to select components with maximum accuracy. However, the production of components with properties exceeding standard values requires prior approval and additional material investments.

To clarify the questions that have arisen, you should fill out a special feedback form on the Ard-Optics website, where you can download a drawing of the desired product, as well, as describe the characteristics in tabular or free form. As a result, ordering custom-made optical components and lenses to order is as simple and fast as possible!
